Gloria Toote—(1931)—From 1973 to 1975 she served as Assistant Secretary of the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She was vice chairman of the President’s Advisory Council on Private Sector Initiatives from 1983 to 1985. She served as vice chair of the National Political Congress of Black Women, and was a member of the Republican National Committee’s Council of Economic Affairs, from 1984 to 1992.
